I am buying NO MORE BOOKS (unless it's the last two Temeraire books) until I've actually made my way through the backlog. Same goes for DVDs; I've actually run out of room in my media cupboard, now, and how the hell I'm going to move all of this I have no idea. And this isn't even thinking about the seven boxes of books at my parents' house, the majority of which I haven't read yet.

I'm being productive today. I've emailed a theater about maybe doing some voluntary work for them, I've made a decent start on tidying my room (although time was admittedly lost on making a room tidying soundtrack), I've sorted the dishwasher... and I've had about 2 liters of water to drink. *proud* Now I need to sort out all my paperwork, most of which is going in the recycling, and get some washing done.

I'm not majorly getting into bandom - incipient fic or no - but it's actually nice how it's made me more aware of music again. I used to be hugely into music when I was in college, but since then I've not remembered to listen to nearly as much of it as I used to. Now I've got loads of new albums and the desire to listen to them, and I'd completely forgotten how much music can change my mood. My tidying soundtrack, for instance, is as energetic as all hell, and I'm getting antsy sitting here for too long - I ought to be up and doing something! It's kind of awesome.

Also, I have found a perfect storage place while I'm wearing coordinating bracelets - Rodney's wearing my pride band like a sash. XD

That first paragraph there is pretty much my life right now. I hate moving/packing. Except for the part where I get to be in a nice new place with a decent flatmate. That part I like. But getting there is haaaarrdddd. *whine*
