It really was a lovely episode, and everyone's mentioned all the things about how it was a lovely episode, but for some reason what really got me this time was the little reactions in the background, how everyone was focused and doing awesome things at all times. Like - like when Woolsey and Keller and John were talking in the hall and Rodney was completely focused on John at all points. (Yup, McShep squee. :D) Like the way Lorne looked so absolutely stressed and pained when they were surrounded, and kept his eyes fixed on John for the slightest indication of what their reaction was going to be. Like John's face when he tried the conference room coffee, which seriously had me giggling for entirely too long. It was just - the acting made me incredibly fond of everyone this episode, Woolsey very much included. But no one rocked the fuck out of the screen like Jason Momoa. Sir, I salute you.

I was also impressed that the writers are learning from past mistakes. They're keeping track of who's supposed to be in the city a little more, they're acknowledging things that have come up in previous episodes, they're following through. I think the one thing I did find somewhat odd was that no one - especially Rodney - made any mention of Rodney's withdrawal from the enzyme before. Sad, sad child that I am, it makes me want fic mentioning that. XD

In conclusion - I am finding both Jason Momoa and Kavan Smith increasingly attractive, as time goes on. But nothing beats Rodney covered in nothing but bubbles.

Your observations on the ep made me SMILE! Hadn't thought about Lorne's reaction, but I went and watched it, and - yes! He totally is watching John and waiting for some kind of hint about what to do.
