*scowls*

I want to be recording podfic right now, because I owe loads to various people and it's unfair of me to have claimed stories to record if I'm not gonna do it, but the microphone I have is crappy and has an annoying background hum on it that I can't get rid of without making some of my words disappear.

That's one of the first things on the list of stuff to buy, as soon as I've moved and settled in my new place (wherever that might be). Also up there: knitting needles and wool. :D

I've got season 4 of Atlantis, now, and I'm disappointed I admit by the lack of Joe and David on the commentaries, but what can ya do? There're bloopers!

Got to ask - I've owned the other three series for a good long while, too, and I haven't even attempted to watch most of the features and extras and such. Does anyone have the DVDs? What are your favourite extras, which ones am I an absolute fool for not having watched yet?

Hi! Try a charity shop for knitting needles!

An excellent thought! Might have to fight off little old ladies, but I'm young and nimble, it'll totally work!

The Mission Directives on the first 2 series are really good because they involve the actors alot more. (Misson Directives are the 'making of' type shorts).

The 3rd series Mission Directives are more from the director's point of view so not so much cast interaction.

I kind of got distracted by life shortly after getting my third season DVDs, so I'm curious to see if anyone has good advice on what to watch...

Yeah, me too! It was right in the middle of my teaching practice, which obviously didn't go so well. XD

God damn it, one of the things that most frustrated me about the season 3 set was the lack of cast commentaries. is this the same, then?

::crankpants::

...but, bloopers. one reel for the whole season?

Think so, yes. They've got a lot of writer and director commentaries, and that's fun with Martin Gero always, and there're some with Amanda Tapping, but no Joe and David. There are a hell of a lot of extras to trundle through, though. :)

Oh, oh, oh, you HAVE to watch the mission directive for The Game! The team is so adorable and darling and they have impromptu sing-along. Impromptu sing-along, Nny.
