Um. Okay, so earlier my computer made a strange barking noise. Which I kind of dismissed. And then it beeped some. I dismissed that too. And then it said, in a strange English accent, no word of a lie:

"I usually kill people for money. But you're my friend, so I'll kill you for nothing!"

and then it screamed.





I DO NOT HAVE ANY WINDOWS OPEN THAT EXPLAIN THIS.

I just - I just wanted to say you cracked me up, utterly, while I was sitting in the computer classroom at school. So, imagine me there, just laughing, with my hands over my mouth.

I too have just had the Groucho Marx line in the strange accent, followed by the scream.

Okay I've had weird noises coming from my windowless computer but only music. And that eventually turned out to be a weird mouseover sample thing whereby files on the desktop would play when I hover the mouse over them... sometimes. And also sometimes while moving them into a different folder. *shrug* ubuntu.

My best friend's computer once popped up a little box that said 'Moose', and when you clicked it it went 'HRRRRRRRRR', rather inexplicably. But death threats? *clings*

and the scream ended in a baby goo noise? my computer has been doing that. i think it's a nasty virus ...no windows open but my regular password i used on WoW and as my user password have been changed. it woke me up yesterday and it's been doing it allllll day. that's how i found your journal.

Download AVG, it's an anti-virus program that seems to have cleared up my computer (fingers crossed!).
