Good morning! Y'know, for someone who faces dreadful water pressure in the shower for the next 10 months, I'm feeling remarkably chipper. And for some reason my head is already writing the sequel to the nonexistant Charlie/Brendan fic, in which Charlie goes to Atlantis and considers John Sheppard to be statistically improbable.

The delightful thing about SG:A, of course, is that the writers fudge it canonically, which means you are allowed to have wildly improbable science as a basis, and the characters actually do talk in unfinished sentences and overlapping statements when it comes to the technical bits.

I think my favourite bit of every Numb3rs episode, though, is the three to five minutes at the end where you just get the Eppes being Eppes. Dinners and teasing and fights about the remote control, most of which seem unscripted. It's kind of delightful, and I totally want more McShep fic like that. :D

I adore those little family bits at the end, where they nudge each other and drink beer and laugh. They make my life better. :)
