Was a leeeeeeeeedle worried that I was going to be bracing my cupboard - which started to fall over - all night, but managed to free a hand long enough to empty the shelves. It's now unsteady and unstable and leaning at a very threatening angle, but I am no longer under it so I count it as a win.

Unimpressed, landlord, distinctly unimpressed.

And now, in order to heal my emotional trauma, I'm going to watch Singin' In The Rain. Obviously.

Your shelf troubles reminds me of when a shelf in my sister and my room when we were little. My sister runs into the living room to find my parents, yelling "she can hold it much longer!!!" Apparently, I had bravely taken it upon myself to prop up the shelf and was about to be avalanched with stuffed animals...

I fully recommend liberal applications of Gene Kelly. Have you seen his episode of The Muppet Show? Genius.
