I have food poisoned mesel' and am now in a state in which waves of pain are making me, like, brace myself against things. At least things haven't got explosive? I'm just annoyed because I don't want to take another day off work but I'm having trouble with the standing up thing. At least it'll give me a chance - should I be able to walk later - to sign up for a doctor and get more medication.

In other news, I was delighted by SG:A and want John Sheppard's hairy babies.

*grins*

(Ow ow ow ow. How do I make it stop hurting?)

Put something warm on your stomach, like a heating pad? I don't know if it's doctor-approved but I remember it helping me once.

It is totally doctor-approved. Or at least medical-student approved :-) It really helped me the other week when I had what sounds like the same thing!
Also, when I couldn't keep anything down, slightly flat ginger beer was a lifesaver. Glucose + fluids + stomach-settling ginger = feeling better. xxx

Ow. *gentle hugs*

When my kids have a tummy bug, I give them probiotics -- live yogurt or the like. It really does seem to help, although of course it takes awhile to get all the way through your system.
