I'm visiting my parents for a few days, sans laptop, which is a new and intriguing experience. I freely admit that I'm addicted to the internet, but it's got to the point where a book in my hands - and not the comforting (and so so warm) weight of the laptop - feels a little odd. This is probably not a good thing. Anyway - I'm taking my little sister shopping today to get her some sort of birthday present doobry, and tomorrow I think I might go and see Winchester Cathedral because it's one of my very favourite places in the world.

I've been watching too much Sentinel lately and no SGA at all - I think I'm kind of delaying the inevitable approach of the end by avoiding it entirely - but people keep posting spoiler pics and delightful interview excerpts and I am helpless against my love for the show. I think when I get back to Cheltenham I'm going to do a little catching up. Not before I've been to Cardiff for Samhain, though, with liz666 and lunar_echo. Apparently there is to be a fancy dress Hallowe'en party, also, so any suggestions for CHEAP costumes would be awesome.

Oh, and you should totally tell me about any Hallowe'en costumes you guys are formulating, 'cos I have the most awesomely creative people on my f-list and I'd love to see what you're coming up with. :D

I was Medusa for our Hallowe'en party (last weekend), but I probably won't dress up again for actual Hallowe'en. It was complicated, lol. There are pictures on my journal, if you're interested.
