nnyToday I:
- unscreened the valentines meme and alerted the folken
- did about 15 minutes of the workout video (I'm starting slowly, okay?)
- showered
- went to the library where I got a library card, a Raymond Chandler book, a Judith Butler book (Gender Trouble) and a book on the Jews of Britain, 1656-2000. Sat there for an hour looking at Antony Gormley sculptures, too, and ignored most of the twaddle in the text
- walked around the lake and discovered a whole new part of the park with Smaller; also, peacocks
- did another 5 minutes or so of the workout vid (really, really slowly)
- made leek and potato soup.
Possibly the best V-day ever. :D
I didn't leave any messages on my Valentines meme - I had enough to do as it was, without running around and alerting all of the incredible people on my flist. Please take it as read that if I read your journal I think you're awesome and funny and sweet and interesting and thought provoking; if I don't read your journal please know that I wish I had time to and I'm grateful to you for reading my drivel in any case.
