Parents are flawed beings-they try their hardest but no one is perfect and it can be difficult to understand their point of view. However, I really don't think they could ever think of you as a disappointment. You are a beautiful young woman who is kind and generous and loving. Your sexuality may cause them issues-because they can't understand it and may have to come to terms with who you are but that doesn't change their love for you or their pride in you. There is so much in you to be proud of.
