I love English TV because people look normal. That said, vampires with thick Bristolian accents = forever hilarious, no?

The creators of Being Human have read a lot of Neil Gaiman.

This? NOT A BAD THING.

I kind of loved Herrick a lot. The way he tossed away some of his lines, off the cuff - "I mean, we'll get him, but - " made him so much more scary than he would otherwise be.

I thought the vicar was massively awesome, actually.

They were slightly heavy handed with the foreshadowing; usually I don't pick up on these things, but I predicted everything that was going to happen in that episode.

Still loved it.

Excellent ensemble, seriously, and the central three characters are beyond adorable.

To the point where I thought that I wasn't going to get slashy about it; and then the last two episodes made me :O quite a lot.

Being Human was one of those shows I started watching because I had free time and the weather was crap. I kept watching because it was made of awesome.

True, I had my issues with Annie, but I reconciled myself with them. I found her fiace truly vile and creepy. Herrick was badass, Mitchell was emo but in a rather attractice way, and George was made of win.

So looking forward to the second series. There will be a second series, yeah?

I know! I wish American TV would catch a clue ...

And I love TV that has a plan, and sticks to it! There's a beginning, a middle and an end to all the characters' arcs in BH, and even though it leaves it open for the next series, it's still a complete story. The writing isn't perfect, but they all end up somewhere different from where they started, and it make sense.

As much as I'm looking forward to the second series, I'm also dreading it because I'm so deeply attached to the characters, and their mutual bond, that I don't know if I could take it if any of them died. Well, at least we have almost a year before we find out ...
