I'm totally indulging myself here with The Truth About Cats and Dogs, which is one of my very favourite of the ridiculous romance films. This is partly down to Janeane Garofolo, who is both seriously hot and incredibly snarky, and partly down to the fact that it's just really, really not about Ben Chaplin at all, is it? I do wonder if there's any femmeslash written about the film. At the very least it ought to be a threesome.

Hanging on by my very fingernails for the Easter holiday at present. Making sure to plan all my lessons at work in order that I can spend as much time as possible in beeeeed. I do massively love that I can have all of you in there with me. :D

It really kind of isn't about the guy, is it. Not that he's not adorable in a puppyish way, but he isn't the emotional center of it at all. And canon does go awfully near the whole threesome thing with "let's take over a bottle of tequila and see what happens!" thing.

I've only ever come across one fic for it, though. Unsurprisingly, it's from Yuletide (http://yuletidetreasure.org/archive/67/thetruth.html). Noelle/Abby, and pretty good, really.

Janeane Garofolo is hot like burning in this movie. Also, I always quote the scene at the makeup counter when buying skin creme, myself.

This movie has always baffled me, because the premise is that "Janeane Garofolo is not as good-looking as Uma Thurman", which to me is a clear WTF? My local male person agrees with me.
