Do you ever get the feeling that Sammy Winchester needs a shirt that says 'specialer' and nothing else? For lo, he is specialer, he is Meant for More, he is the real Slim Shady.

Sam is specialer than you, he is specialer than this, he's certainly specialer than Dean. He's specialer than angels, specialer than demons, specialer than the way you look tonight. He can out-special Vin Diesel, Chuck Norris and David Hasselhoff in a tag-team. He's sparklier specialer than Bella Swann and Edward Cullen put together, specialer than the average bear, and he woulda gotten away with it too, 'cos there ain't no specialer kids.

He is certainly specialer than me, for his dreams come true and involve less first class travel and blood, which I suppose makes sense considering that I have been reading American Gods for the past week. It's still one of my very favourite books; the best thing about Neil Gaiman is always how many other stories are taking place around the edges, how much he clearly knows about the tiniest characters in his books if only he had the time to write about 'em. I want to learn how to do that.

Also want to sleep in my bed. Came back from liz666's house but collected my sister, G, on the way home; she's staying until the weekend and then midnight_violet is coming for a bit. I'm expecting a slow descent into an earlier version of humanity, mostly monosyllables and grunting. There may be a club.

Darling Sammy is a super-special snowflake, it is true.

I'm in an odd place as Sam is frustrating me no end this season, and yet I'm finding Jared more and more attractive as the season continues. I'm not sure what this says about me.
