Who introduced me to Matt Costa? Because I like, I like muchly in fact. I bought an album from iTunes while drunkardly last night, which just shows what a dangerous thing the internet is; not that I don't want the album, but when I consider what else might have seemed like a terribly good idea... XD

Those of you who have Dreamwidth accounts, by the way, what're you using them for? Anyone who has mine added will have noticed that I have yet to do anything at all with it, aside from making it pretty. I won't be crossposting, I know that much, because I'm disorganised and don't really think that anyone needs that much to read what I have to say; I don't know how content will be divided, though.

My DW is turning out to be the place where I can be more public with my fannishness; I have lots of RL friends on my LJ, so I tend to post fic and things under a filter and/or omit things that I don't want to have to explain. On DW I just go ahead and post, which I find wonderfully liberating.

Also, my DW is for meeting new people! The subscribe/access split makes it easier to check out someone's journal on a regular basis without jumping straight into having them read one's locked entries.

I think my DW might mostly go unused? I'm not much of a poster, preferring much to respond to others than initiate things and at this point I've pretty much got all my Flist routed through Google Reader (which i love like a loving lovely LOVE thing). The only thing I don't have is the ppl who post in Friends Only mode, b/c it won't show up in G-Reader.

I like the idea of DW, I like the people behind it. I'm willing to try things and see what happens, but I'm sure that most of my DW posting will be crossposting with LJ. If I can, you know, stay organized. Scratch that: if I can GET organized... lol.

Also, I shall try this Matt Costa person on Pandora...
