Hey! I totally didn't know that people weren't aware of how freaksome I am about feet! Like, [livejournal.com profile] liz666 is one of my closest friends and she was really kinda weirded out by how much feet distress me, it was really funny. :D Like, sometimes I get MASSIVELY freaked out about the fact that my toes are touching each other and I have to spread them as far apart as they will go, because the feeling of them touching each other makes me feel hugely claustrophobic. Too-small shoes make me so tense it's untrue, and a lot of the time even wearing socks freaks me out. This is why I cannot bear even the thought of toe socks, because the idea of something touching my toes from every angle makes me grind my teeth and makes my shoulders wind up to about ear level.

I AM NORMAL WELL ADJUSTED HUMAN BEING!

I know what you mean about feeling that a too-small toe-box in a shoe ruins the experience (which is why, in the main, I won't hold with mules - the whole engineering of those seems to rely on small spaces for the toes). Sometimes I just feel the need to spread the toes a bit as I walk to get traction. We are all made of chimp, after all. (Maybe your reaction is more severe than mine, but I've never had more than a passing fascination with toe-socks, as in, just to look at.)

You know, I don't have issues with feet as a rule, however I totally get that claustrophobic feeling when I can't properly wiggle my toes in a pair of shoes. It's so weird! I get all panicky and have to like, take a step back for a minute omg.

Hi, yes, feet are weird! I really object to those shoes with the toecaps that stop too early and reveal the last couple of centimetres of toe. It's just not natural. *shudders*

You are a normal well adjused human being. Toe socks and too-small shoes (and those super tall and pointy high heels) are definitely on the freaky side. *nod nod*

Good to know I'm not the only one. I CANNOT STAND my feet touching other feet or toes.

Dude, I'm scared of tomatoes, you've a way to go before you're as freaky as me!

I'm normal and well-adjusted too!

I prefer going barefoot whenever possible. I just tell people my feet don't like shoes.

I get claustrophobic when there's anything near my neck. I can't sleep on my back, because the sheets feel like they're choking me, and I never ever button up the top button of my shirt. Makes me very glad I never went to a school with a uniform - wearing a tie would've been a nightmare.

And the one time I played a party game requiring a blindfold (when I was about 10) I had a panic attack. Screaming, crying, flailing, dizziness. Fun times.
