nnyI just got a mental image of a particularly lazy day in the Psych office, Gus chilling out next to a fan with a pineapple smoothie, occasionally smoothing a hand over the top of his head because it's just at the stage of prickliness that makes his hand tingle.
In the distance, getting louder, is a persistent "Gus Gus Gus Gus Gus Gus Gus Gus Gus Gus," in a Shawn-shaped voice, and he'd answer only it's not like Shawn doesn't know where he is, and it's not like it'd make Shawn get here any faster.
Then the door is slammed open with a crash, and Shawn hares across the room (Gus-Gus-Gussing all the way) and unnecessarily vaults an armchair and lands, both fingers pointed, with a last triumphant "GUS!"
"Yes?" Gus says, one eyebrow lifted, and Shawn just shrugs a little and crashes outside again, from the sound of the Gus-Gus-Gusses running laps around the office, for no apparent reason.
It's a mental image that makes me happy. :D
