Jun. 2nd, 2009 06:23 amI am going through a period of intense dislike of the internet, because it spends all its time making me want things I can't have. Yes, adverts, and Amazon, and Ebay, and what have you, but mostly just proximity. I'm sick of time zones, okay, and not being able to phone people, or hug people, or pop around for a cup of tea. The second parts apply equally for those folks in my own country; I'm sick of not being able to afford to spend time with my friends. I'm sick of feeling like an internet entity, not really real and switched off with the screen. I'm sick of F5 and not being able to articulate myself well enough in type and not being around at the right times. I'm sick of using it as an excuse for a lack of an RL social life, and I'm sick of you guys (you guys who I love ridiculously) not being close enough for that to be you.
Grr.
Grr.

Ooh, meant to tell you last night, watched a 'Psych' about a jockey that I don't think I'd seen before! (It made me die laughing)
Write me Shawn and Gus fighting over the fan cooler in the office?
