Say hello to perfect strangers, hold doors open for people and watch how it completely takes them off their stride that someone is nice to them. (Thia never fails to cheer me up, and since I was nice to my old bus driver, he used to wait for me if I was running late.)
Abby bounced in the chair she'd pulled over in front of Tim's desk.
"Ooh, ooh, and the bit where the girl turns into the old woman?"
Tim shuddered and Ducky laughed delightedly.
"Yes, my dear, that part was particularly memorable. It was almost worth putting up with my mother's snoring and sleeping on the settee, just so I wouldn't have to mount the stairs alone after watching it."
"What're we talking about, Probie?" Tony asked, taking a seat behind his own desk. "You were talking about films and didn't include me?"
Tim grinned over at him, hair falling into his face - he never did get it cut on time.
"Abby watched The Others last night."
"Oh."
Tony ducked his head and stared hard at his paperwork, surreptitiously pulling his feet up to rest on the base of his chair. (You were safe if your feet didn't touch the floor.)
"You seen it?" Abby, chipper and still bouncing.
"I rather think he has," Ducky put in.
"Didn't you like it?" Tim asked, with the particularly inflection that meant poorly hidden glee.
"The - photo albums freaked me out."
"The pictures of dead people?" Abby again. "But that was so cool!"
"You do look at them every day as part of your job, Tony." Ducky's voice was gentle, but Tony could tell he was smiling. He scowled down at his paperwork.
"McGee. With me."
Tim's chair thudded against his cubicle wall as he jumped up to follow Gibbs, whose stride hadn't even broken. But he took a moment to lean down, breath warm against Tony's ear.
"I'll hold your hand if you want to watch it," he said.

"Hey DiNozzo!"
"Yeah Boss."
"You and McGee start dating without telling me?"
Tim opened his mouth to object; it stayed open when Tony casually responded.
"Yeah, Boss."
Gibbs shrugged and went back to his paperwork. "That explains a lot."
"...wait. What?"
