Aug. 27th, 2009 12:29 pmI can't remember the wording, so I'll talk at you and call it a meme:
Give me "five things..." prompts and I'll see what I can do with them.
There, talked. :D
Now I have to go be productive... ¬_¬

Date: 2009-08-27 08:24 pm (UTC)"Geez, McGee!"
"Sorry, Tony." McGee brushed ineffectually at Tony's tie, at the spreading dark coffee stain.
Tony squinted at him suspiciously. "You're not related to Gibbs, right?"
2
Tony raised his fist to knock on the door but before his knuckles could make contact it was pulled open from the inside.
His jaw dropped.
She was - she was one of the most attractive women he'd ever seen. And not even McProbie attractive, not attractive at the upper limits of his league. This was unbelievable, breath stealing, how-is-this-not-a-porn-movie sexy, not five feet away from Tony; and McGee had his hands all over it.
"I'll call you, Jess," McGee said, crooking his finger under her chin and turning her head into his kiss, eye half-lidded and satisfied.
Damn, Tony thought. Never knew he had it in him.
3
The most annoying thing about it was that after McGee (and Tony, okay) had spent the required amount of time watching her leave, there wasn't a trace of smugness to him. He just waved Tony in, hunted around for his gun and his badge in a vague and disorganised way that Tony had actually got weirdly used to.
Once he was together, collected, finally fully dressed (thank god, he didn't need the distraction) McGee held up a hand.
"Hang on one second," he said. "Robin's still in the shower."
4
The bathroom door opened.
"...Robin?" Tony said, as politely as he could manage to get his voice to be, right now.
The tall, well-built, unfairly good looking guy grinned and nodded.
5
"You're right," panted Tony. "Guess it is bigger."

"Well I won't say I'm not surprised; I knew the new policy would prompt some changes, but I never thought that you two - "
Vance grinned, shook his head.
"Congratulations. I'll file the paperwork."

"Oh my - Tim!" Sarah shrieks, turning around and slapping her hands over her eyes, as if one of those actions on its own isn't enough for the mental scarring.
Tim swears and flails; Tony chokes out a laugh around - well, Tim.
Sarah disappears into the living room, the door slamming resoundingly behind her, and Tim lets his head drop back onto the pillow, swearing creatively under his breath. Tony pulls away and collapses onto his back, breathless with laughter, desperately trying to get out a sentence between the cackling.
"Should never - have given her - a key," he eventually manages, and Tim just glares, although it doesn't have quite the impact it would've if his mouth hadn't been twitching.
"I guess it serves her right," he allows after a minute. "Payback for the Goldfish Incident."
"The Goldfish - " Tony starts, carefully pronouncing the capital letters that are obviously in place.
"Not a chance, Tony," Tim tells him, untangling his legs from the sheet and fishing under the bed for his boxers. "Much as I love you, no one hears that story."
There's silence for a second as he finds a shirt to pull on along with the boxers; silence until the door clicks gently as it closes behind him.
Then Tony's voice. Quiet.
"You do?"
2
"Ah HA!"
"Ah-ha what?" Tim blinks at Abby, innocent and McGee-ish, with his little McGee puppy face. Abby drops the dramatically accusing pointy pose and frowns.
"Where's Tony?"
"DiNozzo?" Tim asks, a little too casual, like there are a thousand other Tonys around every corner, which arguably there could be, depending on population density, age, prevalent baby names in the year of -
"That's not the point!" she snaps, and Tim looks even more confused.
"Sorry, what's not the - "
"Tony's not here," she says.
"Right," Tim says agreeably.
"Tony wasn't here," she continues.
"Are you feeling okay?"
"Hmmph," she says tellingly, and disappears around the corner.
There's a gentle click as the door to interrogation opens.
"That? Close," Tony says, and Tim looks both ways before pulling Tony closer, tilting his head forward so their foreheads are touching.
"Close," Tim agrees.
"Ah HA!" says Abby.

Ducky cleared his throat, loud in the morgue.
"Please do wipe the surfaces after you, won't you?"

"Come on, McGee," DiNozzo says, weirdly gracious to the green agent. "Come and help me take some measurements for the sketches."
Gibbs grins to himself.
