No, I'm too old for it to have crossed my radar when it came out. (Except for how there was this very, very odd boy at the School for Visually Impaired Children I worked at for a while who was obsessed with it and used to gyrate in his wheelchair singing "I put a spell on you." Surprisingly, this did not engender in me a desire to see it.) I had seen screencaps of baby!Sean as Thackery when I was *ahem* researching and I meant to watch it at some point but your rewatch spurred me into action.

(BTW I knew I knew 2 but couldn't remember so I looked it up and am now KICKING myself. *draws hearts around that particular film*)

I used to own it on video, I think it was a 13th birthday present? It was 'cos I loved Eerie Indiana when I was a Nnylet, and Omri Katz was one of my first Nnylet crushes (along with Paul Nicholls in Earthfasts and Alicia Witt in Cybill.) I was kind of massively distracted from the Omri, though, as soon as there was mini-Sean. :D

I just had a dream all about Tim and Abby, it was bizarre and awesome and involved infiltrating a uni campus. My brain on drunk: or possibly my brain on ducks, 'cos that was much of the reason we chose the wine we did. Apparently they eat slugs and therefore help the wine making process? WHO CAN TELL?

I adore Trick to little tiny brightly coloured pieces. I love the bit you mentioned, I love the very slowly evolving relationship, I love Gabriel's face when he realises he has Mark's real and actual number, I love the drag queen in the bathroom (IT BUUUUUUUUURNS) and I LOVE love love love LOVE Mark's "What kinda girl do you think I am?"

Tim already has the jacket with the leather elbow patches--he'd easily pass for a professor!

They'd have to be particular ducks and particular slugs, right? Ones in proximity to grapes. Because ducks down at my local pond eating slugs is not so much vital to vintners in France or wherever, I wouldn't think? French ducks, helping the development of the wine by eating slugs and helping the drinking of it by tasting delicious when roasted.

Oh, the real number bit! I was actually chanting "Be the right number, be the right number" over and over and then I literally flailed when it was. ♥
