Merlin Emrys and the Totally Gay Triwizard Tournament

I'm halfway through and I cannot stop laughing.

(*winces* Does apparently require a huge amount of willingness to ignore sexist and homophobic language when Merlin's drunk. It's seriously funny through the rest of the story, but this bit feels really off.)

...you know what? I'm kind of redacting the rec. Because it is really funny, and the events are pretty hilarious, but the constant reference to anyone who fancies Arthur - besides Merlin - as whores, prostitutes, streetwalkers and sluts is excessive and keeps putting my back up. (Like, literally. I've never understood the phrase so well before.) I'll leave the link there, but I do so with the information that it makes me cringe in several places.

ETA 2...aaaaand transphobia and a couple of uses of the word 'retarded'. Now I feel all oogy.

I thought it was funny, but I agree there where sections that were problematic, but then Merlin is a teenage boy, and teenage boys rarely have very enlightened speech patterns, so, idk.
