Hee, he is a doctor and all-round smart dude who runs http://www.badscience.net and writes a identically-named column for the Grauniad. It's all about statistics and health and how to decide whether a science story in the media is effing terrible or not. (Usually they are.) He rocks and posts randomly about how exciting it is that Stephen Fry retweeted something he said because omg, STEPHEN FRY, he WAKES UP TO STEPHEN'S VOICE, lolololol.

Well it's kind of a dracula cape but the collar thing doesn't stand up as it should, so it's more like a superhero cape.
