This is not so much a fanmix as it is a soundtrack, indirectly and very belatedly inspired by a request from thingswithwings for 'Ancienty' songs. Each song that I’ve chosen has a corresponding piece of writing, telling the story of Atlantis - or a story, at least.

Many thanks are due to torakowalski and ladyflowdi, for audiencing and encouraging, and my most heartfelt and ridiculous appreciation for mashimero who gave me valuable advice and created the gorgeous cover.

Beautiful. Simply beautiful. The way the fragmented impressions resolve into coherent language really impressed me; the progression felt very natural and conveyed the feeling of awakening and learning so well.

The way the music interweaves with and complements the text is amazing. Thank you for sharing this.

Oh, this is so, so gorgeous. I read this very slowly because Atlantis/city-speak takes more time for me to decipher, and I'm so glad I did. The beautiful writing coupled with the music makes me visualize images inside my head. ("Wraith" had me so worried, and it didn't really hit me how lonely and sad the city is until the very last fic/song pair.)
