The wonderful thing about Merlin is that every single line has a different and slashy meaning, whether it's Merlin/Arthur, Merlin/Gaius, Morgana/Gwen, Morgana/MotW, or whatever pairing you happen to favour; wait long enough and there will be proof for it. There is no difficulty in 'ship manifestos for this fandom. :D

ETA: is there actual filming in Cardiff? because every time there is camelot-through-trees it makes me think of Bute Park which is awesome but confusing. XD

Not really? If we are talking about the woman who was also in Middleman, she does some stuff with them, and in this week she said that Neal had been part of her thesis, and that she had transferred to White Collar Crime because Peter was the best in the field and she wanted to learn from him. They seem to be maybe trying for flirting, but oddly for Neal "I have chemistry with furniture" Caffrey there isn't much there.

But there has been NO EXPLANATION as to where Diane has gone. So I am forced be believe she met some awesome woman (I'm plumping for Ziva David) and after a whirlwind romance they are on an extended carribean honeymoon, and Diane will swoop back in, be awesome, and tell Peter to put Neal and Elle out of their misery and invite Neal back to his place already.
