Argh most frustrating time to wake up ever! Just after Rodney had worked out that these guys couldn't be trusted, just after he'd noticed the faintest traces of blood on the car and the leaves in the driveway, just after he'd pressed a taser against the guy's neck with seriously shaking hands and clambered into the overloaded car, demanding that he take him to wherever they'd taken John, dammit!

I choose to believe that Rodney - who was totally a musician in this story, I could tell by the soundtrack - totally failed at rescuing John but they were both rescued by Ronon and Teyla, Rodney's longsuffering agent and kickass marketing dude.
