Holy carp on a cracker, polaroid film's expensive, innit?

Spent the Christmas money I got from the grandparents on Stuffs For Makins today: two balls of beautiful red yarn and two of varying shades of blue, some lovely petrol blue off cut cloth, some red ribbon and blue ribbon, some velcro and a huge amount of skull and crossbones cloth that was on sale. I'm thinking possibly cushions for most of that. XD A little bit is for modifying an army bag, as is the other cloth and the ribbons. Am dork. :D

Other awesome consumery things I got:

Gluten free cookbook; Rowan knitting set with needles, yarn and pattern; Star Trek and the Motorcycle Diaries on DVD; The Language Instinct by Stephen Pinker; a mix-tape USB; Mr Scruff tea; whole bunch of Lush stuff; crocheted blanket. HAPPY BUNNY. I also have some more Christmas money that I'm considering putting towards a sewing machine, possibly. I should probably get a bike, but I have nowhere to store it right now.

Oooh, craftiness! I would love to see pictures of the modified bag if you are so inclined.

I shall post pics of them once I'm done; need to find the bags online first, because my local army surplus shop doesn't apparently stock them any more, except for one oversized and massively sunbleached one. :D No guarantees of quality; my previous experience of modifying a bag was just to make an Offspring patch into a concealed pocket.
