Can I ask what may be the stupidest question on the planet? What do you mean by "sex of the participants should remain consistent"?

(I don't know if I'll sign up because I'm already panicked over picfor1000, but it sounds like it's going to be very cool.)

I mean that if you have a picture with two guys and a girl, that's what should appear in whatever you create; so a piece of art wouldn't have the same configuration but with two girls and a guy. However, with fandom-things, screwing with the sex of the character is totally allowable. :D

So this is another pokey point. Is there a reason for that? I mean, I get that the people signing up get to choose what combo of genders they want, but what if the pic shows the girl on the bottom and they want her on top?

I'd be okay with that. Like, I'd be okay with switching the roles within the configuration, but not with people switching out a girl for a guy so that they started with a het pairing and ended with slash. Does that clarify? I think the idea of switching the roles of the sexes within a threesome would be potentially interesting. The wonderful thing about SiNtE is that it's got a bevy of possibilities, with all sorts of non-traditional roles and positions, and I've tried to reflect that with the pictures I've chosen to pick from, as well as going for pictures that I thought had something... deeper about them, I guess? Like, pictures with a detail or a setting or a facial expression that I thought would lend itself well to exploration.
