I love this show.

Okay, so Tim has this way of talking - fond, faintly mocking, definitely indulgent - about the minutiae of Tony's life in a way that makes him sound like a spouse. I mean, even if they're not married it's canonical proof that they live in each others' pockets, that Tony tells Tim absolutely everything; it's kind of massively adorable.

(aside: DUDE'S SHOES GOT BLOWN OFF. THAT'S COOL, OKAY?)

There's a distinct possibility I'll be ignoring the plot entirely in favour of squeeing about Tony, Tony's dad, Tim, Tony and Tim, Tony and Tony's dad, Tim and Tony's dad, Tim and Tony and Tony's dad...

you're okay with that, right?

Timmy easing into MTAC is kind of hilarious. And he's looking hotter by the second, I swear. It's not just the fitness - although that sits well on him - they seem to be dressing him better, plus he wears it with more confidence. It's probably the comparison with weeMcGee (who I've been watching the past couple of days) which has cast him in a more favourable light, although HE WAS ALWAYS ADORABLE HI.

HEEEEEhehehehehehe omg when Tim cranes his head around to make sure Gibbs and Vance have left before he speaks to Tony. OMG HIS SMILE AS TONY LEAVES. THEY ARE MARRIED I SWEAR TO GOD.

Man, Jr and Sr look alike. That is freaky.

THIS IS GOING TO BE FUN.

Yes, okay, Sr.'s surprised look after questioning Tony about Ziva and then having Tim call over is aimed at the prince, I realise that, but it just REALLY LOOKED LIKE a lightbulb moment in which he remembers what Tony told him about how it wasn't just a 'phase' okay, dad, and the way Tim had seemed kinda eager to please when he said hello...

I mean. Um.

AND NOW IT SOUNDS LIKE HIS DAD IS EYEING UP THE PRINCE NEED I SAY LIKE FATHER LIKE SON I DIDN'T THINK SO.

AHAHAHAHAA HOLDING THE LIFT AND kljdfg;lkadjfg MARRIED. Just. Just assume that every line of this recap has (and they're married) somewhere in it, okay? Because I will still be saying it, but every line STILL DOESN'T COVER HOW OFTEN I'M THINKIN' IT.

Oh Ducky. Oh, how I adore you. I also like Vance, he's definitely my favourite director so far. He's human in a way that the other ones weren't, no matter how many soft-focus flashbacks we got with Jenny. (And OMG how ready am I for those to end? Rewatchings are all very well, but you really do have to take the bad with the good.)

MISMATCH MONDAY! As ever I am deeply in envy of Abby's wardrobe, even when all we can see of said wardrobe is shoes and socks. XD I seriously want to know where she shops, even if it does just involve me sighing enviously over things I would never fit into...

"...maybe Tony didn't have a mother. Maybe he was cloned." AHAHAHA ABBY I LOVE YOU.

Gibbs is being so nice! I - dude. Wow. That's possibly the most comprehensive proof that he respects Tony, y'know? D'aaaw!

Okay, so my tummy's already going funny as the two Tonys chat over drinks. Miscommunication and parental (dis?)approval always does this to me for no explicable reason. MICHAEL WEATHERLEY'S BELLY IS SEXY. And, by extension, Tony's. (he has settled into happy marriage - I mean - hehehehe).

"I don't like to advertise my failures." And then there's the sliiiiiightest pause from Tony, as he wonders how often his dad talks about him, and another heart string gets pinged. :(

Tim is getting more and more competent. I love how they've written in his learning curve, y'know? Ziva, Tony and Kate were all competent agents when they joined the team, but Tim has been learning the whole time; the lessons are recorded and learned from and have become a part of the agent he is, and I love that we've got to see that. It's nice to see the little screw ups from the junior agent as well as the major OMG screw ups from people who should've known better, y'know?

HAHAHAHA that is like me doing yoga, with the straining and the lack of bendy. I'm so glad I do it alone in my flat, seriously, 'cos I do not make it look as good as Tony. And he really doesn't make it look good at all. XD

OMG TIMMY. I love Timmy and Abby, always and forever, and Tim is just looking particularly darling today. I should like to take him home and snuggle him forever, 'k? 'k. (And Tony? If you like it, you shoulda put a ring on it.)

Ziva's hair is looking gorgeous, damn. That is one seriously good looking team. XD

Eeeeehehehe panicked phonecall to McGee! "SKINNY BUTT!" Wow, Tony refers to Tim's looks a lot, huh?

UM. UM. UM. GIBBS. UM. He just. MY THROAT IS SO TIGHT RIGHT NOW. Gibbs is such a good friend/mentor/boss. I AM ALL WIBBLY. ...oh gibbs. D:

I claim that assessing look in the name of Timmy rather than Gibbs, okay? *adjusts tinhat jauntily*

Doesn't surprise me it was the brother what did it. The prince's shellshocked look was the single best piece of acting out of him in the episode, I was impressed.

Oh oh the hug had me making squeaky helpless noises at the screen. HUGS WITH STARTLED FACES JUST GET ME, OKAY? wow, this episode is totally kicking buttons I had no idea I had, that's kind of intriguing. I'm pretty sure if I analysed my buttons I'd have far more of an idea how my mind works, you know.

Michael Weatherly, I take my hat off to you. So many emotions shown through the very slightest of expression changes. Dude is awesome.

Okay. Number one, I knew it, and I love Tony for it so much. Number two? The fact that Gibbs knew it makes me happier than I can possibly articulate. I adore their relationship, and I adored that episode, and I really need to watch that again. Soon.

In conclusion, ♥. Like, forever. :D

I adored Tony and Timmy and Gibbs being all, "Tony almost died of the plague. Where the fuck were you, hi?" and Timmy being all, "Blah blah, know-all-about-Tony's-life" and Zeeevah going "Ooo, grouchy" and and and and ZIVA'S HAIR, and of course. Tony Sr. Who I feel is the best thing in the world EVER.

And Gibbs and Tony having a beer and sharing a steak GIBBS COOKED IN HIS FIREPLACE, and Gibbs knowing Tony bailed his pop out, and just.

AND TONY'S MOM DIED WHEN HE WAS EIGHT AND MY HEARTSTRINGS. ::clutches them::

YES. THE PLAGUE THING. His dad was genuinely shocked at that, and I just... SO MANY WIBBLES FOR TONY, OKAY. He didn't need that stress when he was sick. Plus the Probie kept coming over to look after him, and Tony's apartment is only so big, right? ¬_¬

Dude. Dude, Tony and Gibbs are, like, BFF? In a kind of daddy way. Cannot see slash there but I can see how people would after that episode, but. But just. GIBBS RESPECTS TONY SO MUCH. And I love him for it.

I don't think there was a moment of this episode that I found *not* squee-worthy. It was just unbelievable. I still maintain that scene with Gibbs and Tony's dad (Tony almost died of the plague...where were you?) was lifted directly from fanfic.

It sounds like Robert Wagner is going to be coming back in future episodes...yay!

My parents watch this show ton, so I have been inundated with NCIS lately, so...

Oh Tony! The littlest bit of wibble that he had in his whole manner every time he had a serious conversation with his dad and Tim's competence and the way that Gibbs nailed Tony's personality is wanting to pretend to be a clown but being so good and oh, love for all of them.

In conclusion, SO MARRIED.
