Didn't get the job I went for today but I'm not massively upset - wasn't sure I wanted it, once I got there. I'm also not downhearted because they had a PGCE student already at the school who was going for it, a supply teacher already covering that post, and the other two they asked for further interview were both people who knew teachers in the school and were from the local area. I've asked for feedback though, because ways to improve are always appreciated. :D

Got sidetracked while buying a paper for one of my granddad's friends today, and accidentally bought a couple of packets of Merlin stickers, which I didn't know existed. Now have a 'magic mirror' moving Griffin, drowning Arthur, dying Will, Morgana looking gorgeous, Arthur looking noble, a slash dragon, a slash Arthur-and-Valiant, a couple of monsters, a couple of Nimuehs and a Mordred. The lack of Merlin makes me suspect I will be buying more packs of stickers in future...

Anyone else want one? Am willing to dismember packs to provide what you want, or provide packs intact, although possibly postage won't be until the end of the month when I have money again...

ETA: Got straight back to looking for jobs. I can't, I'm sorry, apply for a job in a place called 'Sexey's school'. I would never stop giggling.

I'm sorry you didn't get the job, but I am glad that you're taking it so well. It's always tough to be an outsider in a situation where there are internal candidates. The employer has to be "fair", but really, the decision's already made. But I'm glad you went, and that you'll get feedback

But when you were asked why you applied for the job, you could say that the school has taken a dip in the league tables recently, but you have heard very good things about their plans for the future, and you would like to be a part of their effort in bringing Sexey's back.

*huggles* Sorry to hear that you didn't get the job, but it's good that you're being positive about it!

They make Merlin stickers? ♥ That's one of the things I think is lacking with American sci-fi: lack of merchandising. I mean, they make expensive things, like models, but I don't think I've seen stickers for an American sci-fi show since Buffy.

Sexey's School? Is that named after a person? I'd feel so bad for them if it was D:
