I was delighted at the new BBC adaptation of Sense and Sensibility, cried - as I usually do - at Elinor (oh ♥Elinor♥) and rather thought we should have had a small clip of Margaret and her future girlfriend together added to the montage at the end, just to complete the set.

Oh good! I am glad to hear you liked it -- I loooooooove Ang Lee's adaptation (and Emma Thompson's GENIUS BREAKDOWN at the end <33333) and was hesitant to watch. BUT NOW I WILL TRACK IT DOWN

Yeah, it was kind of wonderful, and all the characters were really well done; it was kind of lovely for not constantly being distracted by who the characters were played by, you know? I mean, I did have a couple of those moments, but I was more able to get swept up in the story. And YAY for English accents other than RP!

I like the new Pride and Prejudice far more than I thought I would, too. Just wish Wickham had been less of a limp dishrag; the old BBC version did far better for scoundrels.
