Nostalgic one, today. I may have pottered over to a_fell's journal for a look at the icons... and then I got completely sidetracked with the hotness that is Paul Bettany, something I haven't done for a terribly long time, and then I started looking at the Legion poster and pondering buying one, and I'm sure there's a saying about hand baskets that's applicable here...

I find it odd that my automatic way of talking about it, though - and that of many others - is to do with babies, or marriage, or ovaries. Like, I was going to mention something about tripping over my ovaries which, while frankly hilarious as a mental image, is really not it at all. I find the concept of marriage in my case unlikely to the point of absurd, and frankly unwanted, but I've been indoctrinated not to talk about attraction in terms of wanting to screw someone silly. It's an odd sort of mental pathway.

Sidetracked! My point was something like: Paul Bettany is hot, and I miss having somewhere to indulge my Aziraphallic side. And I'm going to wear a helmet while watching Legion, in case my brain explodes.

Liza and I usually go with "ovarysplosion"; she wants babies, I don't, but we're both coming at it from the perspective of "ballache" - that the desire to fuck someone, whether you're into reproduction or not, is associated with your organs of generation. ;) So while the more biologically accurate view would be to say "brainfizzy", that has a lot of different applications. Ovaries/balls are automatically fuckfest.

Of course you could also declare GET IN MY VAG, which remains one of my favourites (or be accurate! Descriptive! You want to fist his pink English whiteboy non-ass! Or you'd like a length of it in your bum, please. Or whatever).
