HEEEEEE. Dude. Dude, can we have Mark Sheppard as ACKSHUAL Crowley, please? Hmm. Now I'm pondering who could be Aziraphale. Adrian Rawlins (https://media.nt-online.org/files/Adrian-Rawlinsq8YZ7O.jpg) is totally my mental angel. >:D
For me, PTerry is actually Aziraphale, although really, Misha in SPN does a bang-up job as Cas, and he'd make a pretty decent Aziraphale, if he could do an English accent. :)
I emailed you about visiting! End of this month, woo!
Cas and Aziraphale are pretty dissimilar, though. Aziraphale is far more, like, naturalised. Like an anthropologist who's been initiated into the tribe, or whatever.
I have taken the day off from the computer mostly through sleeping through it, I was watching Rufus Sewell in drag at about 4am and then got up at like 8 andcame back from London, so I was completely zonked. I kinda want to write but my words aren't working particularly well today. I aspire to your current level of writerly awesome. \o/!
I still can't do the whole revision/editing thing, or the... allowing things to not be perfect first time, thing? That's why nothing I write is long, because I can't deal with that level of commitment. I'm kind of a perfectionist and I deal with that by half-assing so it doesn't matter if it sucks.
*facepalms*
Have you seen the modern taming of the shrew? Rufus Sewell is SO INDECENTLY HOT.
TEA IS GOOD. I just had a mug of tea so big I had to use two teabags. Assam is my current favourite, except for Mr Scruff English Breakfast, which is the best tea EVER.
I'm going to go through and comment to other people when my brain's a little more functional.
::comes over, plunks down, brings cake and tea:: I just watched Avatar. I GET IT, WORLD, and I agree: A+.
Also, I am on day two of my period and watching the new Sherlock Holmes reading oodles of Holmes/Watson slash. I came to two conclusions: 1, clearly, their love is so canon because they are far, far too comfortable with each other that cannot be explained away and 2, it is very obvious to me that for the many people who should not be writing in turn of the century British vernacular, there are an equal amount of people rocking it like a rocking thing. I have no idea why I added that bit at the beginning about being on my period, only that it seemed somehow relevant.
ALSO, I desperately want to write something, but I have no idea what. I AM IN THE MOOD FOR AN EPIC. I just don't know what.
Cake and tea is so very always appreciated. I haven't seen Avatar and I'm not really interested in seeing it, it's - I don't even know why. Not in the mood for that kind of thing at the moment? I've downloaded a couple of John Hughes films but not watched yet. Holmes and Watson are practically canon, and the Clive Merrison radio productions are amazing. Epics are awesome, I'm reading them today. Feel like investing in something.
