Oh boy. I don't know if dressing-room playing on mini_rps counts, but that is to date my only RP experience. I wouldn't mind getting into an RPG, but I've no idea how or if I'd be any good. Or indeed if I could spare the time/cope.
It does consume you rather, but I think it's... Milliways was intended to be very flexible about that, when I created it. Unfortunately that didn't happen so much with me - I was dragged into more plots than I was comfortable with, and had constant guilt over letting people down - but that's still my ideal RP environment. With overarching story ish, but casual.
