Am exhaust.

Packed things I shouldn't have - like clothes - and haven't packed things I should - like some books and stuff. Can't sleep properly onna couch, don't seem physically able to consume enough liquid to prevent dehydration head pain, feeling like I'm made entirely of whinge.

WHAT IS MAKING YOU HAPPY TODAY PLEASE? Need vicariety.

Am preparing to go and spend the weekend in the country, cat-sitting, with a view overlooking the sea. VERY EXCITED about this. \o/ (Not excited about the trip to Tesco that must come first, but hey. Small price to pay.)

I made stirfry and congee last night, so I feel all accomplished cooking-wise, and today I have the rest of the stirfry for lunch. Yaaaay for reasonably nutritious lunch. (I haven't been cooking much recently, so I went and got produce so I would have to do things with it to use it up.)

I have tea. Tea makes me be not a zombie in the morning.

Bosslady brought her puppy in to work! PUPPY. He's a Bernese mountain dog, so he's giant and fluffy and chill. He flops in the corner of the office all day and gnaws idly on his toys, and occasionally wanders over to nose at my elbow and then flop again.

Tiger spice chai made with soy milk and extra nutmeg with a giant cheese danish. I'ma gonna be dead of dairy products in about an hour, but OOOOH it's going to be worth it.
