Temporary new journal layout which I'm not sure if I like yet... *** [livejournal.com profile] villainny *** I'm not keen on the moodtheme being off to the right, but I like the colour scheme and the inserted Bettany. :D Meh, I will keep fiddling on and off.

I'm... stressed to the point of the absurd and the monumentally unproductive, which resulted in the urge to write hellishly depressing Sherlock fic - thoroughly quashed, thankfully. It's really so very much easier to list my faults and hate myself for them than it is to list my faults and do something about them - it's an old song, one I've been riffing off since I got this journal and before, and it's one I'm tired of... but changing the record would mean moving, and if I'm uncomfortable at least it's a discomfort I'm familiar with.

Speaking of the unfamiliar, I'm moving to a new town on Tuesday, into lodgings which I've never done before, and it's another layer of stress and grump; I don't know how I'm getting my stuff down there, and I don't know how the living situation will work out, and my intestinal tract is being gnawed upon by ferrets.

Goddamn ferrets.

1. There is no excuse for not writing depressing Sherlock fic.
2. Moving house is inherently stressful; you are allowed to be stressed. This is wholly acceptable and not something to admonish yourself for.
3. ROLLER DERBY!

Dude, you are moving and starting a new job. I would be concerned if you WEREN'T be chewed on by ferrets. I'd start looking for the robot parts.

You can TOTALLY do this thing.
