Total nerves about tomorrow, but in the positive excited bouncy kind of way rather than depression and scaredity. :D
I am basically conning all my classes into providing a bit of description of themselves for me. Year 7s are discussing fairytales (traditional and non) and describing themselves as if they were in one; year 8s are looking at transcription and phonetics and writing about themselves in code; year 9s are looking at hyperbole in advertising and using that to advertise aspects of themself using ridiculously overblown synonyms, and year 10 are writing a film review of their character/life so far. Then I'm going to use choice parts of all of their descriptions to make a worldle word cloud for each of my classes. Next week we'll do the whole scheme of work thing.
XD

Have a great time. You might get about three hours sleep before your first day, but that's about par for the course. Your students will be blown away to have anything interesting at all happening in the early days!!
