OKAY SO this one time? At band camp? On NCIS? Tony didn't get invited to dinner by Ziva and everyone else did. I know, right! Bitch! Hate campaign is a GO! (According to a certain subset of NCIS fandom, at least). This has apparently been at least partly responsible for triggering an avalanche of Woobie Whumptacular requests on the NCIS fic finders comm; I suspect from those a)in high school or b)who can't get over high school, and did not get invited to the party.

I hate to tell you this, guys, but Tony was not you. Tony DiNozzo was the asshole who didn't invite you.

Naw, it's just logic. See, Tony almost gave his life to save her and give her more time in Undercovers. Therefore, Ziva is supposed to be his slave for life, doing everything to please him and never ever complaining, no matter what he says or does.

Same deal with McGee, he came to help him in Probie, so McGee is indebted for life. I don't know why it's so difficult to understand. It's how real life work, right?

I think the mistake is expecting them to act like high schoolers, when they're actually elementary school students. And that dinner was totally Ziva tweaking Tony's braids.
