Steve McGarret=Benton Fraser and John Sheppard's mpreg love child. He has FEELINGS and FACES and is like, DEADLY SEAL ASSASSIN but also is totally in love with his partner and buys him weekends in hotels so Danny's little girl can swim with dolphins. He also has nommy tattoos (including a TRAMP STAMP I am not making this up). Is frequently and enthusiastically shirtless.

Danny Williams= TINY JERSEY RAY KOWALKSKI. Talks with his hands. Has very pretty blue eyes (and a nice arse, just ignore the hair for it is bad). Constantly feels he is the only sane one on the team. Has to demonstrate simple concepts like miranda rights and stairs to Steve. Calls him ''babe' with no trace of irony,

He and Steve BICKER A SERIAL KILLER TO DEATH. REALLY.

Chin Ho Kelly= actually the only sane one. Beautiful, beautiful. Is steady and calm and whip-smart and also has a TRAGIC PAST because he was kicked out of the force for a crime he didn't commit and now his whole family (who are mostly cops) have kind of disowned him, with the exception of Kono. Drives the HOTTEST BIKE EVER. Smily and happy but also liable to beat you to death with an ashtray if you get in his way.

Kono Kalakaua= BADASS. I kind of ship her with Ziva as only she has the extreme levels of badass necessary. Ex-pro surfer turned cop. Deeply devoted to her cousin Chin Ho. The rookie, but can still kick your ass. lives in a state of perpetual amusment at Steve and Danny's antics. Resourceful and clever and loyal. Prone to carrying around sniper rifles, but is also good in a fist fight. Surfs in her bikini but woe betide you if you ogle her and she doesn't like it. Worryingly Steve-like in her approach to peril.

There is no Mark Sheppard as yet. But he isn't in the third series of Leverage either.

YES YES ALL OF THIS YES. It is like the love story of John Sheppard and RayK and it is BEAUTIFUL, with the "babe" and the BICKERING TO DEATH and I can't even.

I feel like Chin spends a lot of his time quietly radiating WHAT EVEN IS MY LIFE, but he only has Kono to talk to about it, and she never seems to see the problem.
