Funny little meme
May. 15th, 2011 11:17 amAziraphale is sitting in an armchair reading a book.
Well, all right; some bad habits, when the harm is nothing significant - and only then to your posture - are entirely too tempting to resist.
Aziraphale is sprawled in an armchair, reading a book. The glasses are, naturally, an affectation, but one of long enough standing that they have almost worn a place for themselves towards the end of his nose. The faded green cushion that has been folded in half so long that it doesn't plump straight for visitors any more is tucked behind his lower back, and it will be another half an hour before the faint prickle through his shirt prompts him to shift his weight enough to denude it of the recalcitrant quill.
In half an hour, too, the slice of warm sunlight thrown across his folded back cuff will become just that last half inch too warm to be comfortable and he'll slot in the dark red leather bookmark (with its dusty gold tassle) and push himself to his feet and towards the kitchen.
The kettle will just be whistling when Crowley pushes open the front door.
