nny | Woah, imaginary dagger, dude!

The above was a title of a year 10 lesson I did the other day. I then had a slide which just said 'woah, imaginary dagger, dude; woah, imaginary dagger dude.' We discussed how grammar affects meaning, and how the second implies personification, and then we went on to find all the examples of personification in Macbeth's dagger speech and how it implies that he is doing everything he can to distance himself from the act and the blame for the act.

These are the times I'm pretty sure I'm meant to be doing what I'm doing, y'know?
