The problem with today is that I have a desperate need for people but no desire to actually talk to anyone. I miss living with people and being able to just sit in a room with someone, reading quietly, no communication. Maybe I'll go to a library, although in this context it would feel a little dirty. Brothely. XD

I think going to a library (or cafe type place if there any nearby where you wouldn't have to pay shedloads for food/drink you don't want) would be a great plan in that situation!

Agreed. Humans are social creatures, and there's nothing wrong with wanting a little company.

Seconding both Soupy & Aspen. As I read this I thought, well, that's exactly what Starbucks is made for.

Libraries too, but there's a little more oblique camaraderie in coffee shops, don't you think?
