4. What are you afraid of?
I, like Harry Potter, am scared of Dementors.
I mean, I'm totally scared of normal things, like nuclear war and opening doors and things between my toes and vaseline, but mostly I'm scared of being scared.
I've gone through a huge part of my life being afraid, is the thing. I've been scared of confrontation, of rejection, of people not liking me enough, of not being good enough, of new situations and challenges, of getting stuck with the familiar. I have let fear stop me from a million and one things that I would have liked to have done. And I have worked really damned hard at getting over that, and I have met challenges and fought battles (and opened doors) that I never would have dared before until I'm in a place where I'm generally happier, brighter, fitter and more confident than I have been... pretty much since puberty hit. I have a ways to go on my journey of self-improvement, and as soon as I reach the end I'll start another, but I am stronger and better and proud of it.
So mostly I'm scared that the crippling paralysing fear will come back, but I'm working at making it less likely.
ETA: Oh! Also sex. I am legitimately terrified of sex. :D
