The internet has returned to my bedroom! Am somewhat embarrassingly delighted at my renewed ability to do work without having to sit near smelly people who can see what I'm doing. :D Seriously looking forward to getting on with my Good Omens exchange story!

Macs are weird, though. I keep accidentally clicking on everything in the universe. Are there like shorty cutty things I should know about? Where is everything? How do I cope with the lack of Office? XD

Okay, I'm scuttling straight back off again anyway; the laptop died right in the middle of episode 9 of season 2 of Game of Thrones, and I wish I could say that that wasn't my priority but I don't want to taint my new machine with lies this early.

Oooh, and I have to name it, too. It's not technically mine, but that's hardly going to stop me...

For page up/page down/home/end: fn + arrow keys. They should be marked for which is which.
(I think I've finally broken myself of the habit of reaching for the fn key that's not there on a PC, nearly two years later.)

Generally, the CMD key is like the PC's CTRL key.
