nnyFailed first true test of the aunt by sending my niece's birthday present a month early due to fucking up with Google Calendar. I am really more distressed by this than it warrants - at least it wasn't a month late! I just know my brother's going to judge me for it.
I'm picking apart the threads of my life and laying them straight, and I'm feeling good for it. I keep looking back and checking and shuffling them into place, and it's a really conscious process, and I'm kind of hoping I can get to a more relaxed way of moving forward without tangling them all again, but we'll see.
(It's probably sad that a huge part of this is that I've limited AO3 to an hour a day on Chrome so I can't keep falling down days-long fic spirals where I read a whole bunch of stuff I've already read because it's safer than dealing with the real world. I haven't replaced it, though! I'm not bingeing on Netflix or armorgames.com or anything, I'm actually doing reading for my masters!)
Work all day today, work all day tomorrow, and this evening is laid aside so I can help little sis with internship applications, so I must away to do more reading. Much love, and such. :D
