i've started watching Person of Interest and I'm rather enjoying it, even with Jim Caviezel's slightly stilted acting and the excessive ADR. Harold Finch is a seriously interesting character, I like the slow drip of detail, it's well done, subtle. Which is enough to keep me interested, for the moment. The dialogue is hella clunky, though. I hope that cleans up over time.

anyone else seen?

I've seen a bunch of the first season, thanks to Vonnie, and it seemed suuuper old school slashtastic - mostly in a good way?

I HAVE. The dialogue never gets good (neither does Caviezel's acting), but it becomes marginally less terrible after a season or so.

In fact, I'd say S1 is not at all illustrative of the show as a whole, given that it sneakily begins to change genre on you in season 2, then EXPLODES into something else entirely in season 3. At which point it abandons any pretense that it's anything other than chaotic-good science fiction, whacks you across the face with feelings, commits to subverting every character archetype it's set up so far, and doesn't look back. I love it a whole lot. A WHOLE LOT.
