1) What's the one thing you're most proud of accomplishing in your life?

Giving my sister a more open minded view of homosexuality and alternative lifestyles than my parents tried to give me. I come from a Christian family. Not *majorly* so. Christian in a very British way- sunday mornings, church then roast dinner. Children in the choir. Embarrasment at those who show a lot of enthusiasm for religion. Y'know? I was pretty religious for a while, and then I took a look around and realised quite how hypocritical a lot of the people were. I decided that it wasn't for me- I don't know quite *what* I believe, but I do believe that organised religion is rarely helpful.

I'm trying to let G know that it's okay to be different. To tell her more about things, and try to let her make her own decision and form her own opinions. I have actually been banned from talking to her about religion for a few years, because mum wants her to be a happy little automaton for a little longer... but I do what I can, when I can.

2) Favourite late-night snack?

I love peanut butter on toast. And toasted cheese sandwiches, but that's for when I have a little more time and patience. *g*

3) If you somehow got some dirt on JKR and had the influence to have any slash pairing made canon in the next two books, which would it be?

Now? See, before I would have said Sirius/Remus. Because she could make it canon with so little effort, and it wouldn't have had to be in a particularly overt way- it just would've been nice to have seen them together. I'd quite like to see a Charlie relationship in canon, actually. I'm shipping him with Oliver Wood, but it wouldn't have to be. I just think... it'd certainly be easier on her were she to make it a non-central character. And she could do some good by making it seem like a normal, natural thing, aye? OTOH, speaking from a purely no-consequences kind of deal, I'd go with the Snupin. *g*

4) Harry Potter pairing that you would never read?

There are very few pairings that I *will* *not* *read*, if they're in the hands of a talented author. Then again, something about Snape/Hermione gives me the screaming heebie jeebies.

5) Name five goals for when you're all grown up.

1) to only spend time on people that make me happy. Not to hang out with people because I feel I should, or because it's easier than not doing it.

2) to be happy in myself, and not to need someone else to make me feel normal. I spend a lot of time alone, and I'm mostly okay with that. But there's a little niggling voice inside me that makes me feel like I should be in a relationship, should get married, should have kids. Oddly enough, it sounds like my mother.

3) To get my little Inuktitut tattoo. But first I have to check on the veracity of the information I have and make sure I'm not getting "wanker" tattooed across my back (or wherever).

4) To work harder, so that I can afford to travel, and see some of the things I want to, and meet some of the people I want to, and do some of the things (bungee jump!) I want to.

5) To write. To write *well*. I have to practice.
