Feb. 13th, 2006 03:21 pmI ain't doing a Johari window because I wouldn't believe you, and I ain't doing a Nohari window because I would not take the criticism well. (If I've screwed up the names, I apologise.)
Valentines day tomorrow. I'm not expecting anything, as usual. It's not really a holiday that's ever held any huge meaning for me because I'm professionally single. This doesn't mean I'm any better at it than anyone else, only that I have more practise.
Y'know what though? If I were to get a valentine I'd be pleased whatever it were. But I'd be extra specially pleased if it were something that no one else was going to have. I mean, cards and flowers and chocolates are lovely and predictable and awfully pretty statements. But there's no huge amount of thought that goes into it. Me? I like bananas. My absolute ideal valentine would be a banana covered in biro'd poetry, and I'm not even joking.
Next time I'm in a relationship on valentines, they're getting a pineapple in a pair of Y-fronts. That will be the acid test. If they appreciate it, they're worth keeping.
