nny: (drunk)
I went to a pub quiz last night, and everyone marvelled at my random and completely useless knowledge. I totally have pub quiz knowledge. I drank quite a lot, got £2 for winning some sort of bonus round thing, and then proceeded to follow [livejournal.com profile] josepheenie's friends home and scare them into submission. I have this dreadful habit of holding court when I'm a leetle bit sloshed. :D

All round a pretty good night, really.

And it's nice to have the dragon*conners back in circulation, because suddenly my f-list has actual posts on it. It's ever so exciting and means I won't have to talk so much to keep myself entertained - I bet you're glad of that. :D

(It might even result in fic at some point. Gosh.)

Since I'm still attached to the computer at the hip, though, because it provides me with SGA fix, a meme:

Ask me any three questions and I'll answer.

I just watched Letters from Pegasus and my love of Rodney is all-consuming, my love of Zelenka has to be measured in planets, and my love of this show defeats my ability to describe it.

I hate it when something you're watching for lighthearted entertainment chokes you up this bad. XD
nny: (unprecedented levels of dork)
My fandom experience started with mailing lists. Specifically the RatB X-files Mulder/Krycek mailing list, actually. I didn't know at the time the ridiculous amount of mailing lists there were, or much at all about how fandom worked. Then when I stumbled across the Snape Fuh-Q-Fest mailing list, joined up, started writing, found livejournal, I completely let mailing lists fall by the wayside. Not enough time, I guess? I don't know - I tend to be involved in things more for the people than the fandom.

Fandom intrigues me, but I'm generally an outsider. I don't know whether I should change that.

Out of curiosity, then...

Conscientiousness - they keep using that word. I do not think it means what they think it means. Not to me, anyway. :D

You are introverted, reserved, and quiet with a preference for solitude and solitary activities. Your socializing tends to be restricted to a few close friends. You can be easily upset, even by what people consider the normal demands of living. People consider you to be sensitive and emotional. Novelty, variety, and change spice up your life and make you a curious, imaginative, and creative person. You have a strong interest in others' needs and well-being. You are pleasant, sympathetic, and cooperative. You like to live for the moment and do what feels good now. Your work tends to be careless and disorganized.

Seems fair.

OHGODOHGOD I HATE SEASON FINALES

*FLAILS*

PS I was hoping I was done with the ow. Have you noticed the chipper? The chipper was 'done with ow' chipper. That chipper is, apparently, gone.

Ow.
