I've just realised, while researching a bit of fanfic I intend to set here in Cardiff, how remarkably slack I've been. There are such fantastic resources available and I haven't made use of them- so many places I could go, things I could do, and I just haven't bothered.

Part of it is the amount of money I don't have. *g* I am currently surviving until my next loan cheque comes in, and by "surviving" I mean that the food I have now is it. I have no more money, at all. I can't go out anywhere, which is why I tend to spend all my evenings in here. I'm babysitting tomorrow, so I might be able to go out *once* before I go home for Easter. That'd be nice.

I'm feeling strangely happy about it right now. At least I *have* food. I don't have to survive on toast, like I have in the past. (At one point, for two months). Also, the fact that I'm researching and (fingers crossed) writing a fic is pleasing. It probably won't end up nearly long enough to justify the research, but I'm pretty happy doing it in any case.

I'm sorry I'm not being particularly interesting lately. It's the lack of alcohol, see. *g*
