nnyDo you have any idea how impossible it is to have access to the internet and *not* come on LJ? Bloody hell.
Some stuff about this week so far:
It's grand being back with the family. I missed them so much. Little G has just come in to show me a daisy chain she made, which is as tall as her. After weeks of Sleaze stress and Uni stress and such it's fantastic to just see the simple smile on her face.
I went to the Vivienne Westwood exhibition in London, and it was a real eye opener. I mean, some of the clothes were absolutely ridiculous, but the ideas behind them... it was interesting. Odd. Cool. Also went to Harrods and stood in the food court and geeked out in a Neverwhere fashion. (The Marquis was sitting *there!*) *g*
Went to Mighty Tom's last night, and watched a film called Dark City, which is a surreal cross between film noir and scifi, and it was fantastic. I was seriously impressed with Keifer Sutherland, and Rufus Sewell is really attractive, but I have no *idea* why I consider him so. But if you get the chance to watch the film, please do- it's... an experience. Also he showed me a Sigur Ros video, for a song called Vidrar vel til loftarasa. It can be downloaded from their website, and I suggest anyone ding this does so, because it's fantastic and moving and beautiful and disturbing.
I miss RPing.

Date: 2004-04-12 07:27 pm (UTC)...A few of the sets from it were used for The Matrix, hence the similar looks. :) But I prefer Dark City, I think, for its Utterly Cool Creepiness. And better premise, IMHO. But anyway I'll probably be slain for saying that. :D
